Dress Me Up 2

Hello brothers and sisters from another mother! Just want to share with you guys my experience of being one of the participants of the Dress Me Up 2 which was held at Gateway Mall in Araneta Center.

Actually, I’m not originally a part of the participating bloggers. I’m just sort of a replacement for my friend’s supposed to be blogger partner since he/she could not come. So there were 15 fashion bloggers ( 7 pairs and 1 stand alone)

Fellow Bloggers preparing and analyzing their outfit concepts for the model that we randomly picked. So there are 5 Bb. Pilipinas ladies and 3 Brazilian male models. (LOOK! Jesus is always at the center of everything :D) 

So the challenge was to make a look that represents Dairy Queen’s newest flavor which is Black Forest. We could only visit 6 stores around Gateway Mall and here’s the order of visit of our team;  Marithe Francois Girbaud, Mark’s and Spencer, Parfois, Promod, Sebago and Bayo. 

We can only get 4 items per store and we could no longer go back to the store that we already went into. And choosing among the great variety of garments and accessories from the participating stores is very challenging. We really need to choose wisely. SUPER CHALLENGING!

So we were then asked to make a lookbook of our conceptualized look. Nika (yourfashioninspiration) x Ranel (I NEED ATTENTION!) = BOOM! Our playful and corporate outfit.

Once our lookbook is done. Snap shots of it will be taken by the official photographer.

Here’s our model, Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2012 Katrina Jayne Dimaranan. We were so lucky to have her. She was very sweet and bubbly. :D

So as you can see there is a slight change in our planned outfit. Well I think you’ve already guessed what happened. Hehehehehe.

ACER (I’m Ready for the Great Change)

Last October 23, 2012, ACER launched their latest products that will surely rock the computer world. ACER is offering 2 new tablet PC’s (Iconia Tab W510 and Iconia Tab W700), an ultrabook (Aspire 7) and a PC-U series (Aspire U) all powered by Windows 8. People from the press, media, tech people and bloggers were invited in the event that was held in Crowne Plaza.

There was a runaway show that highlights the new ACER gadgets. Here’s a photo of a model showing his stylish outfit together with the new Acer Aspire 7.

Mr. Manuel Wong (General Manager ACER Philippines) gave the opening remarks.

The UP Pep Squad dazzled the crowd with their power and breathtaking stunts. 

I, myself is a huge fan of cheer dancing that’s why I took a lot of snapshots to cease the moment. 

They ended their performace with a BANG!

Mr. Dio Vasquez (Senior Product Manager of ACER Philippines) discussed about the ACERCloud and how it will make your computer experience easier and more convenient. 

There was a question and answer portion where 8 random consumers from the streets of Metro Manila were given a chance to ask questions. The experts answered all of the questions and explained why these items is a must have.

After the event there was a raffle for a laptop. I was hoping that I would be the lucky one to take home the prize but unfortunately not. Envious me! :))

I AM COTTON ON, ARE YOU?

Wasn’t able to access my computer this past few days.. WAH! I need some updating now on my blog. Well I know this is already a bit late but I just want to share with you guys (THOSE WITHOUT CLUE YET!) that COTTON ON is now open at the SM Mall of Asia!

 The event was hosted by the very fashionable Raymond Gutierrez.

I attended the event together with my newly found blogger friends and we enjoyed watching the fashion show and seeing the first collection that they will be selling here in the Philippines. 

The LA dancers also performed during that day. And they are an outstanding group of dancers! Really gave the audience a pump!

 

It was a very fun show full of styles that I really like. Simple yet appealing! :D Congratulations! KUDOS!

Gossip Boy Well obviously I just write a blog when I have time and usually it happens when I’m bored here inside the house. I know I have been ranting the same thing over and over again. (get use to it) As always, when I’m bored and alone here in the house, this is when my creativity comes out hahaha. I decided to make a look inspired by gossip girl. Actually the cardigan that I am wearing is a revamp from a girls cardigan (It was my moms old cardigan). Decided to make something new out of it… Glad that it looked really different and very manly I think.. hahahaha.. Hope you guys will like this look…
